N, Lilly and I arrived at my in-laws yesterday early afternoon, like around noon or so. She slept the whole time, like usual. We weren't her very long before we left to drive to Chicago to O'Hare airport to pick up N's grandparents. We actually got there like 2 hours early, they got confused on what time they would arrive (the time change, they flew in from Florida). Lillian was such a trooper. We waited in the cell phone lot and I eventually woke Lilly up and fed her, since they wouldn't be in until almost 5 Chicago time, I didn't want her to wake up in the middle of rush hour and want to eat. We waited and waited and waited, finally they arrived, we got the call. We picked them up and then we went to steak n shake to eat and use the restroom. Then we left at 6:30 chi time, yeah um traffic was horrendous! We though oh we will catch the end of it, we will be fine, HA! It was stop and go the whole way through Chicago. Of course Lillian woke up and wanted to eat, so I had to take her out and feed her. Poor girl was screaming by the time we got home, as soon as we got out of the car, she was fine. She was so tired of being in the van, I don't blame her one bit. We were ready to be out too! In the end Grandma and Grandpa were very excited to see Lillian, and to be on the ground.
Today we went to get N's tux for his brother's wedding on Saturday and did a few errands with mil and fil. Now we are home relaxin on this cold snowy day. The traffic was terrible and it has been snowing all day. Poor Lillian had to go back in her car seat for more car rides, but she slept the entire time, which definitely helps. She wont have to be in her car seat and in the car until Friday when we go to the rehearsal for Garrett and Deb's wedding.
OK, time to eat and relax. Merry Christmas Eve Eve!
