Summer Lovin'!

Since I have been lacking BIG time in blogging here is an update for the summer.

I would say this has been a busy summer. Since Memorial Day we have stayed pretty busy. Not really much happened in June but July was pretty busy. Of course the first weekend was the 4th of July weekend and we spend half of it at my aunts lake house in Rochester and the other half at my moms. While at my aunts we got to hang out with my super adorable baby cousins, Abby and Emily! We didnt do much, we didnt get to see fireworks because we got a bad storm and we didnt want to go out in the rain. I also got to use my aunts cricut and cut out Lil's birthday invites.

cuteness!

Since mommy forgot her swimsuit Lil got to go in the water with Nikki and Carolyn. She had a BLAST!

Sunday before we left my Uncle Doug took us on a pontoon ride around the lake. He took us by an island where snapping turtles tend to hang out. Lil got pretty excited when she saw them sun bathing!

She really enjoyed the ride. I know she doesnt have a life jacket on but figured this would do. My dad has the life jacket and they didnt come down.

We went to my aunts on Saturday and stayed the night and left on Sunday afternoon. We headed to my moms Sunday afternoon and stayed 1 night. I made Lil a tutu that she wore  most of the day on Monday. She got to hug Yogi and Boo Boo, again. She went on a wagon ride with Yogi and Boo Boo and she also went on a train ride

My patriotic girl :)

hugging Boo Boo

She doesnt look thrilled but she really was!

The weekend after the 4th we went camping for a week with Phil and Becky. They came down on Friday night and we loaded our things and left on Saturday morning. We headed down to Brown County until Tuesday. It was HOT, mostly over 100 and we didnt have AC. Lil, Nathanial and I slept in a tent we borrowed from my mom and Phil and Becky slept in the pop up. We really had a great time. We had a little visitor one day of a little green snake. Lil loved it and got sad when she stepped on him and he slithered away. She got sad and thought she hurt him. Tuesday we packed up and headed down to KY to Big Bone Lick State Park. We went to the Creation Museum on Wednesday. That was amazing! I would really like to go back. Unfortunately my camera battery died so almost all of the pictures were taking on my phone. We really had a great time and when we got home Lil said she wanted to go camping again. Hopefully we can make this an annual trip from now on.

Lil enjoying the 3rd row to herself!

Our friendly visitor! Lil thought he was so cute and got really sad when she stepped on him. She said she hurt him.....so adorable. He was fine though.

I think I like her way of playing better ;)

Tree of Life

Noah's Ark. Now this isnt real and it's not the full length but it is the full height. Put's it into perspective. They are building the Ark as we speak on a different part of land that they own. Definitely want to go see that!

Walking in their beautiful gardens outside.

Petting Zoo!

Petting the goats. Man we could not get in there fast enough! She saw them an ran to them!

and she had to pet a chicken!

A Zorse!

She loved the suspension bridge!

Now these are out of order and didnt want to mess with rearranging them.

These are Bison that we walked to at Big Bone Lick in KY.

Setting up the camper at Brown County State Park.
