6 weeks on the 4th of July

Maxwell turned 6 weeks on the 4th of July. It was an uneventful day as we stayed inside out of the extreme heat. Daddy was home all day with us too! I did a photo shoot with the kids too. I plan on doing his monthly pictures myself. I need to REALLY learn how to use my new camera! :)

A little about mr. Max:

he is getting SO big! He is getting long too.

He does NOT like a wet or dirty diaper and he will let you know!

He is on a pretty consistent 3 hr feeding schedule during the day and he has lately given me a 5 hr stretch between his last feeding before bed and his first night feeding. He is usually only up twice during the night and the 2nd time he is up is usually around 5 or 6am!

he is cooing a LOT when he is happy and he seems to like his playmat until he gets tired of it and then gets mad.


when he is tired and not hungry he loves his paci!


He doesnt like getting into his car seat



He slept in his crib for the FIRST time last night.......sad moment but I know it's time! It didnt go anymore different than when he was in our room.
