The first!

Well I am venturing on to a new thing. I have created a new blog spot, hehe, that all my family and friends can see and read instead of just Myspace. This will mainly, well for right now, be about our house, and occasional updates on us and our life. Once we have kids then I will add those posts and pics, but for now its just our house. If you are wondering, we are residing in Lafayette, IN for the time being, well for quite a few years. Nathanial, my husband, just got hired on Full time at SIA, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, in Lafayette. He was a temp, he started there in March, and is Now a SIA employee since the last week in August. What does that me??? Well Holiday pay, PTO, not not what you are thinking, its Payed time off, and raises and bonuses. He also had GREAT benefits. We don't have to pay for benefits which is very very nice!

So once he got this job we decided to see if we could afford a house. We were looking to buy a
Pre- existing house, but found this flyer in mail and decided to check it out. We met with a gentleman from www.myfirsthome.com. They work with community developments, like CP Morgan, Tempest, Gunstra and Beezer Homes. This happened to be a CP Morgan home. So we met with him, never thinking that we could ever afford this, and come to find out WE COULD! We also qualified for First time home buyers, so that means our interest rate is fixed for one thing and it its lower than any rate you can get from a bank or outside lender. So a house that we thought we could never afford turned out that we could, plus with this we have a BRAND new home, and at a price we can afford and WE GET TO CHOSE WHAT GOES IN IT! With a pre- existing home you can do that. We are both very excited, if you couldn't tell.

So here I have attached a few Photos of the land, with the slab and a few from our Model house, I wont post all of them, only because there is like over 30! Enjoy.

One more note, im not sure how much Ill be posting right now, since our house is only a slab. But ill try to update as we have more progress.

The lot, its a corner lot.

here is our slab! Its progress!

This is the living room of our model home, but this will be our living room, with different furniture.

The pictures aren't showing up. I was able to see the last picture last night, but can't see any of them today. Just FYI.
